We did a whole episode on this topic, and I still don’t believe it’s spelt that way when I read “Ziggurat”. But, like many words that look weird after reading it so many times, today we are back in our fascination wheelhouse of temple-complexes and ancient civilizations. Follow BYWAP as we travel back in time to investigate the Ziggurat as a religious center for Mesopotamian cities… And the global influence it may very well possess! Join us as we yell into the void over the importance of Big Rivers, manage to fill our “We Hate Alexander the Great” quota, contemplate the trading significance of an empire with so many trade routes, FINALLY record the episode, and settle into Halloween Month the best way we know how… Ancient Civilizations.
